Five Steps To Grounding & Centering
The process of centering and grounding is the vital first step to performing ritual. It gives you strength and shuts out distraction, allowing you to focus all you attention into the ritual at hand. Grounding puts you in connection with the healing energy of mother Earth, while centering helps you tune in to your own internal power.
HOW TO GROUND YOURSELF:
Close your eyes and take 3 slow deep breaths.
Place your hands about three fingers below your navel which is your physical centre and the location of your sacral chakra.
Breath in and out deeply at least five times while concentrating on your centre and feeling stabilising energy there.
Scan your body to find stress and negativity you are holding. Feel it releasing down through your heels and soles of your feet. Visualize it leaving your body, flowing away into the floor.
Picture the energy of the earth as light coming into you physical body coming up through your feet, travelling upward through your legs, into your core and your heart space and then being transported throughout your entire body with every breath. feel this energetic light fill you and bring stillness.
Now you are ready to perform your ritual.
